We at Rumeur’s are fond of holidays and special occasions and we take pleasure in preparing tables d’hôte or special dishes for them. We make St. Valentine’s just as memorable as Mother’s Day or Father’s Day. But, we don’t need a special occasion to treat our customers to our latest creations. Every day is a special day at Rumeur’s.

No, the Resto Bistro Rumeur is a private enterprise working in concert with the Hotel V which is managed by the St-Jean family

Yes and it’s free. There are a few spaces beside the restaurant as well as beside Hotel V. There are also parking spaces in the street (Bellehumeur) but the hours vary depending on the season. Check with the City of Gatineau for more information.

 Our menu does not feature gluten free dishes but if you ask, we will be pleased to accommodate your needs. Also, it is important to advise us of any allergies or food intolerances when you arrive so that we can serve you as well as possible.

 No, we have two! Two very nice terraces, one in the front which enjoys sunshine all day long and another at the rear, completely renovated and more private offering a relaxed bistro ambience. Terrace reservations are not taken more than 12 hours in advance as weather conditions are sometimes unpredictable.

There is no strict dress code. Both dressy and relaxed are equally welcome.
